Sinus Tarsi Syndrome

Sinus tarsi syndrome is a cause of chronic pain following ankle sprains. The sinus tarsi is bone tunnel between two bones in the rearfoot and the ligaments in that can sometimes get strained in an ankle sprain and not get noticed initially until the swelling subsides and there is chronic pain present.
