Running Cadence

by Admin on May 10, 2012

Runners are paying more attention to their cadence, that is the number of step they take per minute. There are claims that a shorter stride length and a faster cadence is better to prevent injuries. There is no evidence to support this, just testimonials and claims. More research is needed on the impact of a runners cadence on the risk for injury.
