Growing Pains in Children

by Admin on March 20, 2012

Growing pains in children are common and can be distressing for the child and parents even though it is self-limiting. The classic symptoms of growing pains only occur at night and only generally affect the muscle area behind the knee. If the pain occurs during the day or affects the bone or joint, then it should be thoroughly investigated for other problems.
