Forefoot valgus is a biomechanical deviation of the forefoot when it is everted relative to the rearfoot when the subtalar joint is in its neutral position and the midtarsal joint if fully locked. As a result of forefoot valgus, the mid foot must invert to keep the foot flat on the ground. As a consequence, this compensation can result in symptoms.
