Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia is a relatively common non-inflammatory chronic pain condition that appears to be due to some central pain control mechanism dysfunction. Fibromyalgia affects the whole body, but when there is a problem with the foot, it is often more painful due to this central sensitization. There is also some suggestions that foot biomechanics plays a role in Fibromyalgia.
